As a simple answer, no. The Projectors provide several options that an LCD screen can not at the moment. First the projected image is able to be overlapped and thus blended together to form a single massive screen for you to use. You could get a large super wide panel screen but the cost would be prohibitive. The next issue that you have to understand is that an LCD screen does not have the high accuracy dot pattern. This means that you will lose the 680 dots per inch (DPI) resolution and need to replace it with a less accurate and, in the case of a large LCD screen, much more expensive solution.
